p. 131, the last part of the sentence at the end of par. 1 (after: so no one could be tried) should read: He also declared that those guilty of the crime included “individuals from the leadership of the USSR NKVD” whose actions were marked by “an excess of authority that had adverse consequences in the presence of especially aggravating circumstances.” 20 This was, he said, a crime subject to the statute of limitations.
